Covid 19 – Resources

Leer en Español aquí.

Farmers play an important role in the world today. Especially in this crisis, they require information on how to mitigate the risks they are exposed to at the farm and as they interact with others in their communities.

These materials have been developed to equip Farmers, Youth leaders and Extension Workers with the right information to teach, model, and share new behaviors to keep their communities safe from COVID-1

These materials have been developed with these key principles in mind:

  1. Be optimistic. Keep in mind that this is a difficult moment. These materials can be seen as an opportunity to spread messages of hope and support for farmers.
  2. Farmer-focused. Honor the work farmers do, make them feel heard, and respect their practice. Show them that they already have the tools to keep their families and communities safe.

Please help us to track the reach of the materials by letting us know who you are and how many farmers you will be sharing this information with. You can complete the form by going to this link.

You can find the posters in other languages that we use across our network here (including Swahili, French, Haitian Creole and Lunyanokle). If you would like to work with us to translate these documents into further languages, please indicate on the form here.

There is a training video available to help support your programme or extension teams to deliver this information to farmers.

Posters

Posters can be placed at places where farmers visit often. For example at the agrovet shops or market stalls. Make sure they are visible and in a location with minimal distraction.
