Brenda lives in Nairobi, Kenya and has great passion for Agriculture. She holds Bachelors of Science in Plant Biotechnology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Masters of Environmental Science from Kenyatta University, Kenya. She has vast experience working in various regions such as Great Lakes Africa regions, Southern Africa and parts of Asia focusing on research, education and farmer support systems to improve their farming techniques to subsequently combat hunger, poverty and improve human health. Brenda has working experience in Agricultural Value Chain Analysis, Market Access for farmers specifically maize and beans, Trainings on seed quality and pre-harvest crop handling. Among her past employers and working partners include Sysbiotech, CTTBD-Malawi, GALVMED, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), One Acre Fund and SNV (Netherlands Development Organization).
