The Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera La Prosperidad de Chirinos Ltda., works with small producers to grow and market coffee as well as providing social and micro-finance services to its members.
Due to the altitude climate and soil of the region their coffee has characteristics that give it an acidity, flavor, body and aroma that has made it among the best in the northeast of Peru.

MEET THE FARMER
Mrs Silvia is a promoter farmer from our Center of Excellence on Coffee Quality in the Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera “La Prosperidad” de Chirinos. Her farm demonstrates the whole coffee process and how best practices and innovations can be used in order to keep their high coffee quality.
